You Know You Have Been Gaming Too Much When…

I could list a dozen things under this, but you know it’s really bad when you are having nightmares about EQ2. No, I wasn’t being chased by orcs… 🙂

A few days ago, I happened to get in a PUG headed to Obelisk of Ahkzul. This was my second time there (first time tanking this zone ever) and we got to the third room without dying even once. It was a really good group. But once we got to the third room (the guy who makes you bounce around), things didn’t go well at all… I guess noone had really been here before and I wasn’t the best at getting ALL the energy orbs bouncing around. You have to give me a break – it was only my second time here! After several deaths and people getting very very frustrated, we decided to call it a night.

I had been thinking about this silly incident and the next thing that happened… I had a nightmare about this zone and I was really jumping up and down trying to get the orbs. I even got tired in my dream and told my in-game friends (They were in my dream too!) to hurry up and kill the guy since I was exhausted after all that jumping. Ahem… Of course, all my friends had a good laugh at my expense…

But we did go back in there and destroy him! Woot! Thanks to Keocia and her friends who came along to help! And yeah, I’ve slept in peace since then. 😉

Don’t forget this weekend is another “Hot Zone” weekend, bonus XP in the following zones this time – Greater Faydark, Butcherblock Mountains, Steamfont Mountains, Lesser Faydark and Loping Plains!

Have a great weekend and safe travels all!
